Cardio Assignment To begin with, cardiovascular health is the condition of ones heart and blood. In order to maintain a healthy heart, you must eat right and exercise. According to American Heart Association, 30 minutes of daily exercise is good enough. Having a healthy heart is important because it can prevent many harmful health problems such as having a heart attack, a stroke, high blood pressure and obesity. There are so many side effects on lack of cardiovascular activity, its best not to risk it. The First Lady Michelle Obama is a huge on making kids stay active and has made many commercials that promote being active an hour a day. Secondly, there are lots of activities that people can do to stay fit for example, running, swimming, and biking. Swimming is a great all-around workout as it exercises every muscle and is overall, the best option. Running is also a popular option since it's an easy sport that requires no equipment. It's been proven that runners have the best results when it comes to blood pressure, cholesterol levels, and maximum energy output levels. Lastly, biking , has been a popular option to a wide age range of people. Most people ride bikes at full speed in order to increase the blood flow. How intense should the workout be? Enough to make your heart race-that's the goal. Overall, they all have the same outcome: better health. Lastly, I do not think I'm very healthy because I do not do much cardio. During P.E. we run which is a great example of cardio. During summer vacation I plan to go run at the park with my friends and also go swimming. I mostly enjoy swimming and I think I will give my heart a great work out. Besides exercising myself, I will aware my friends and family on how important it is to work out your heart.
